BBC Radio 1’s prestigious Rock Show, hosted by Daniel P Carter will be exclusively premiering the brand new single from Architects entitled “Day In Day Out” on Monday 30th August from midnight to 2 AM. Don’t fret if you can’t stay up that late or aren’t based in the UK you can still hear the new single & show online for the following week at www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006wq4s The digital single “Day In Day Out” due to be released on 27th September via all digital platforms will be the first single to be taken from the band’s eagerly awaited new, Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan) produced, album “The Here And Now” which is due to hit the shelves in early 2011 Architects singer Sam Carter comments on the new release “‘Day In Day Out’ is going to be our first single & will also be the opening track and the perfect introduction to our new album. Lyrically it touches on a running theme through the album which is basically our lives and the way we lead them. We spend a lot of time away from home to do what we do and it doesn't always feel like it’s worth it. The song is questioning what we do, but it is also very positive and is about keeping your head up even when things aren't going your way. Parts of our new record will definitely surprise some people, but I think this song has more familiar aspects of Hollow Crown whilst still showing glimpses of where we've taken our song writing on the new record.” |
